Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Beki was born in 1945 in Bingöl. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in 1979 High Islamic Institute of Erciyes University in Kayseri. At the same university, he received his Master's Degree in Islamic Law, after which his PhD in 1995. in 2002 he became Associate Professor and in 2009 full Professor in Islamic Law in the Faculty of Theology at Dicle University, Diyarbakir. Abdulaziz Beki preached in Bingöl and Kayseri provinces from 1970 up to 2erTHİs later appointments include Head Preacher and Mufti in Yahyalı, Kayseri, Assistant in Religious Services in the Netherlands Embassy in The Hague, Head Chaplain in Kayseri metropolitan area, lecturer in Kayseri Religious Training Center, and Deputy Head of the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences in the Faculty of Theology at Dicle University.

Among Dr. Beki's published studies are Organ Transplantation Principles in Islamic Law, Modern Commercial Disputes in islam, Political Management in Islamic Law, Valuable Documents in islam and Current Turkish Law, New Lavv of Relations in islam, Monetary Penalty for Warning in Islamic Law, Commercial Ethics in islam and Question of Crowned Teeth in the Light of Islamic Law. Prof. Beki has numerous papers and articles published in Methodology of Islamic Law, Islamic Law Classical Texts, Islamic Criminal Lavv, Lavv of Relationships, International Lavv, Family Lavv, Lavv in Comparative Denominations. Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Beki is multilingual; Turkish, Zazaki, Arabic, Persian and English. He can even compose code-svvitched poetry using the abovementioned languages. He is married and has fıve children.
